Yantai intangible cultural heritage is a regional and national culture heritage which originated from Yantai city. It is mentioned in the Convention of intangible cultural heritage of United Nations that excellent cultural heritage should be inherited in the way of education.It were encouraged to inherit excellent culture via education in our country as well, such as arranging some related curriculum in schools. Therefore, according to the instruction of National-regional-school three level curriculum concept, more and more school-based curriculum were developed in recent years. On occasion of the new curriculum revolution, it bring a good opportunity for school based curriculum on cultural heritage. It has important significance for middle school education transformation and to broaden the students horizons by using the ways of organizing the local regional school-based curriculum resources. This is also a very good way to improve the ways on study and enhance interests on our excellent cultures, which will create the unique campus culture, enhance the sense of regional belongs and national identity.This paper is written on the base of the study of theory and practice by using literature research method of searching related paper and essays on intangible cultural heritage, and taking reference of school-based curriculum ideas and research findings. A lot of survey interview to students has been done during the course of written this paper. From theory point of view, this paper were written under the guide of new curriculum theory, based on the necessity and feasibility of school-based curriculum, centered around the purpose of improving students development, enhance students ability and broaden students horizon. This paper brought up a education development view of enhance humanistic quality and form a sound personality. From practice point of view, based on the situation of No.1 Middle school of Laishan Shandong, it evaluated the feasibility of the school-based curriculum and development strategy. The lesson plans were made accordinglyThis paper consist of three parts:The first part of the paper is the basic study. The main content is to introduce the background, significance,study method, structure of this paper. It summarized the related studies on this topics and fixed key concepts on this paper. It analyzed the value and the significance of combine the school-based curriculum with intangible cultural heritage.The second part of paper is the core part. It described the rational development design ideas on school-based curriculum of Yantai intangible cultural heritage based on the study of theory and practice. Based on the school running ideas of No.1 Middle school of Laishan Shandong and its’ special campus culture, it brought up the basic development process, idea, purpose of the curriculum, operating strategy and lesson plans.The third part of the paper is the conclusion part. It summarized the study about the development of school-based curriculum on Yantai intangible cultural heritage.
