Since the beginning of the century, China’s higher vocational colleges have been developing rapidly, and they have become an important part of higher education. With the development of higher vocational colleges, the college counselors are also experiencing a continuous improvement process. And then how to make the counselors work from the trival things management into the path of professionalization, specialization and become experts? The author puts forward a new counselors work model--counselors working course. In addition, with the continuous development of society, the demand for talent is also higher and higher, mainly reflected in the talent is pay more attention to the comprehensive ability rather than professional ability, which is a new requirement for higher vocational college students. That means we should not only to cultivate students’ professional ability, namely "hard power", but also to cultivate students’ soft power, so as to achieve the improvement of students’ comprehensive ability. Counselors working course not only innovates the counselor’s working model, but also increased the new ways to cultivate higher vocational students "soft power". Both of them develop new ways to achieve the "win-win" of teachers and students.This paper conducted in-depth research on counselors working course through the methods of literature review, interview investigation and questionnaire survey and other scientific methods. Through the research and investigation on the present situation of college counselors’ work, the students "soft power" and the counselors working course, this paper extracts the problems existing in the counselors working course, analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of the curriculum, and puts forward the countermeasures to improve the work of counselors working course. This article is divided into four parts:Chapter one serves as an introduction, in which the author introduces the background, significance, ideas, content and method, etc., expounding the research status of the work of vocational college counselors, counselors working course and the cultivation of "soft power" in higher vocational colleges. Then defines the relevant concepts, and finally expounds the innovation points of this paper.Chapter two adopts the method of tinterview survey and questionnaire investigation, analysised the the status of counselors working course through statistical analysis.Chapter three, the paper puts forward the necessity, feasibility of counselors working course, and analysises of the characteristics of counselors working course.According to the above analysis, chapter four puts forward the countermeasures to improve the work of the counselors. It described the course system systematically from eight aspects including the curriculum orientation, curriculum structure, curriculum content, faculty construction, teaching methods, evaluation system, evaluation system and security measures.
