Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Preschool Children Taking Part In Summer Training Courses

Children from 6-7 years of age graduate from kindergarten and their parents then start making preparations for their children’s academic life in primary school. To get their children involved in various training classes which are called the convergence between kindergarten and primary school, has become a part of children’s life in their summer time. The participation of the training courses for children from 6-7 years of age has been paid much attention to. In the form of investigation and analysis, this paper focuses on how parents whose children study in Changshu City Experimental Primary School, choose a summer training course for their children.First, based on the theory of “behaviorism, constructivism, need level and social development”, this study, from the perspective of the characteristics of the children from 6-7 years of age,, states the characteristics of children’s development and how they learn. Meanwhile, from the practice of the management of the kindergarten, this study combines kindergarten education and family education development, supporting children’s study.Secondly, this paper has carried out an investigation aimed at the parents whose children study in Grade one in Changshu City Experimental Primary School. In the form of questionnaire and with the method of the statistical analysis, I’ve made a data analysis of the 243 valid questionnaires that have been collected. The analysis methods applied include: reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, variance analysis and difference analysis.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1. As for children, it is common for them to attend the “young convergence training courses”, with children attending the phonetic classes in the majority. Most of them attend the class of interest mainly specializing in art talents and they tend to have their long-term training(CMA). Summer training course is an important part of children’s summer life and children are seen to appear in different training agencies.2. As for parents, who hold a positive attitude towards the training course, believe that the training classes can help their children develop in an all-round way. Parents attach great importance to their children’s entrance preparation. They also pay much attention to the cultivation of their reading habits, learning habits and living habits. They believe that tourism and sports are beneficial to children’s physical and mental development.3. As for the training agencies, they come in a great many varieties. The training courses include special classes and comprehensive classes. Training agenices are various and complex, most of which have opened the convergence classes such as “phonetics”.
