The Study On Casework Of Mobile Phone Dependence Phenomenon For College Students

Mobile phone has become an essential part of our life. Except the initial function of calling and messaging, today we have the function of Internet surfing and video calling. The developments of Mobile phone not only make our life more convenient, but also trapped several users into the problem of overuse. And this is the problem we are to discuss about the " Mobile Phone Dependence". There is no clear age limit for the " Mobile Phone Dependence", because from young to old are likely to become dependent in it. However, considering the danger to our country, we should pay more attention to the problem of college students’ mobile phone dependence. As the main body of future and society, college students should be active to learn knowledge and skills to preparing for the development of country, instead of indulging in mobile phone so as to hamper the improvement of them. Therefore, it is essential to develop many treatments to this problem.This paper is based on the theories of" Behavior Therapy Mode" to analyze the factors of college students’ mobile phone dependence. We can get the practical experience of social work intervention to college students’ mobile phone dependence through the case work. As a MSW student, we adhere to the work ideas of "self-help" and we choose the intervention mode to client to get rid of mobile phone dependence. Meanwhile, this paper is going to contribute to provide practical supports to the study of social work intervention to college students’ mobile phone dependence.The first part is introduction, and it expounds the source, the research purpose, significance and research methods of this problem. The second part is the theoretical basis of this paper, mainly expounds the preliminary integration of related research achievements from the domestic and foreign scholars on this field, and the three core concepts of "mobile phone dependence phenomenon"," school social work" and basic meaning of three behavior model theories of "classical conditioned reflex theory", "theory of operant conditioning", "social learning theory". The third part is the analysis of present situation of college students’ mobile phone dependence and reasons of this problem which are analyzed in the aspect of students themselves, society, university, family etc. The fourth part is the focus of this paper, which is practical operation of social work intervention to college students’ mobile phone dependence problem, including building relationships, collecting data and solving the problems, making goals and plans, giving service, and evaluating. It also contains record of whole process and combination of theories and practice in order to provide better services to the clients. The last part is based on the analysis of present situation of the problem and general process of school case work, summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of school case work.
