Emotional education is an important part of the education process, which is concerned with the emotional world in the process of students’ growth and education.Emotional education can improve students’ emotional field, and the middle school period is the key period for students to grow up, the students’ emotional impact on students’ physical and mental health and overall development. Reading teaching is the main part of Chinese teaching, the quality of the teaching of reading directly affects the quality of the whole language teaching. For a long time, the junior middle school students in minority areas are weak in Chinese language, the Chinese learning enthusiasm is not high, in the language learning rarely get positive emotional experience. Some Chinese teachers pay attention to the students’ cognitive education,emphasize the tool of Chinese, and ignore the humanity of Chinese. In reading teaching, pay attention to the learning of knowledge, despise reading in the emotional experience, students in reading is not really into the text, the text does not have their own unique understanding. In the junior middle school Chinese Reading Teaching in minority areas, teachers ignore the emotional education of students.This article attempts to through the survey of current minority area junior high school language reading teaching present situation of the emotional education, by means of theoretical basis, the analysis of the problems of the existence of the emotional education in the teaching of Chinese in junior middle school in minority region, then discuss how to carry out emotional education. The first part of this paper is to sort out the research significance, the research summary of emotional education and the research of reading teaching. The second part analyzes the content of emotional education. The third part analyzes the role and value of the emotional education in the junior middle school Chinese Reading Teaching in minority areas. The fourth part carries on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the emotional education in the junior middle school Chinese Reading Teaching in minority areas. The fifth part discusses the implementation strategies of emotional education in junior middle school Chinese Reading Teaching in minority areas.
