With the rapid development of the modern social economy, vocational education,which has been paid more and more attention by the Party and Government,has become an important part of the whole education system. The secondary vocational education is gloriously with the sense of responsibility to cultivate billions of technicians, and the key point is to build a high qualified teachers’ team. Therefore, the teachers’ development becomes the important premise of the vocational education’s development. Through analyzing and unscrambling the relative research results at home and abroad, this paper collects, analyzes and reconstructs the real developmental story of an English core teacher in a secondary vocational school, using narrative research way, to analyze the affecting factors of the teachers’ professional development. The object of study in the paper is an English teacher, who is from a secondary vocational school in Sichuan. Her teaching experience will be recorded and described comprehensively, detailedly and veraciously. In order to achieve the research purpose of this paper, her teaching activities will be analyzed by considering and concluding the possible influencing factors of the development of the English core teachers in the middle vocational schools.This pager is divided into four Parts.Part I: Introduction. Mainly combining with the rapid development of the modern vocational education, the paper sets up the research background, analyzing the development condition of the modern secondary vocational education. The paper puts forward the questions of modern teachers’ development from both sides of objective and subjective, introducing the reasons for choosing this research title. It also draws the conclusion of the research meaning and purpose by concluding the results of relative studies which are about teachers’ development, development of core English teacher at home and abroad. Then by defining three key words----teachers’ development, English core teacher and teachers’ professional development, the paper chooses the object of study and simply introduces the research way and train of thought, on the purpose of figuring out the connotation of English core teachers development in secondary vocational schools.Part II: The developing story of the research object. According to the features of different career development stages,this part is mainly about analyzing the various problems, reasons and relative influencing factors in developing process of the English core teacher by recording her stories. This way is to get the teacher’s development stories of the research into the level of theoretical basis.Part III: Revelation of the research object’s developmental stories. The purpose of this part is to unscramble the teacher’s development stories and dissect the rules and reasons which can affect teachers’ growth and hide in the stories.Part IV: Thinking about the possible reasons that can influence the development of the middle vocational school’s English core teachers. This part is to analyze the factors that may influence English teachers’ development, in order to help other English teachers face their hard working environment and achieve their own professional developments.
