Zhejiang Province, as a major agricultural and advanced province in China, has formed regionalization, large scale and specialization of some agricultural industries. According to the data on the Zhejiang Data Information Network,30 agriculturally modern comprehensive areas,40 zones which demonstrate leading industries and 126 boutiques with agriculture characteristics all at provincial level have been built in 2014. The total number of modern agricultural parks is 642, covering an area of more than 3600000 acres. However, with the rapid economic and professional development, whether the scale of talents can keep pace with such development will decides the future development of Zhejiang’s agriculture. To further the agricultural economy, we must foster a new type of agriculture team, who is well-educated and good at management with technical background, thus we must rely on our vocational education.This paper conducts an investigation on 6 prefectures in Zhejiang Province: Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Ningbo, Quzhou, and Jinhua. By using brainstorming, questionnaire, forum and other methods, this paper investigates 7 relevant secondary agricultural schools and 41 relevant companies like Zhejiang SenheZhongye Ltd, Zhejiang (China) Flowers mall and recovers 341 questionnaires.By collecting, processing, analyzing and discussing these data, we know more about the development condition in the majors such as fruits, vegetables and flowers in secondary agricultural schools. Through the research, we find that in the majors such as fruits, vegetables and flowers in secondary agricultural schools, there are 5 five following problems, such as the inconformity between specialized courses and teaching requirements, scarce teaching staff and ability, lack of professional teaching equipment, single and backward teaching systems in courses and less close cooperation between schools and companies. Comparing the advanced experience of the secondary agricultural schools both at home and abroad and drawing on others’ strong points, this paper puts forward 7 suggestions as follows. We should reform the current curriculum structure and model, improve the experimental and training equipments in schools, build specialized teaching teams, develop and innovate the teaching materials, reform the teaching evaluation as well as optimize the school-company cooperation mechanism, etc.
