The research of the mathematics teachers’ beliefs becomes very important in education. To some extent, the teachers’ beliefs of mathematics not only determine the development of mathematics teachers’ professional development, but also affect the teaching plan, teaching behavior and the development of many aspects.With the development of the secondary vocational education, the study of the comprehensive quality of the secondary vocational school students(e.g. mathematical education) received extensive attention. At the same time, because secondary mathematics teachers’ beliefs play a important role in determining the effectiveness of the secondary vocational school mathematics teaching, so many researchers use modern education research results(such as constructivism), to promote the secondary vocational mathematics teaching and teacher development and reconstruction of secondary vocational school mathematics teachers in the traditional concept of Mathematics education.However, there are few works on mathematics teachers’ beliefs on Secondary Vocational Schools. In this paper, we use the method of questionnaire investigation and quantitative analysis, and investigated the mathematics teachers of secondary vocational school. Collecting information from three dimensions,which are from the beliefs of mathematics, mathematics teaching and mathematics studying. The present situation of the teachers’ belief in the secondary vocational school is analyzed, and some important subjective and objective factors are found as follows:1.The secondary vocational school mathematics teachers’ beliefs tend to progress, but the teachers are still different levels of traditional mathematics education.2.There is no significant difference between the different gender of the secondary vocational school mathematics teachers’ beliefs.3.The level of education of the secondary vocational school mathematics teachers’ beliefs.4.There are significant differences in the degree of teaching practice in the secondary vocational school mathematics teachers’ beliefs.Based on the above research results, we give some suggestions on the development of teaching beliefs and professional development, and provide some further the expectation. |
