Ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards emphasize basic concepts of mathematics culture and education. By disseminating, exchanging, experiencing and perceiving the culture of mathematics, students can deepen their understanding of the nature of mathematics and increase their mathematical literacy. Cultural study of mathematics has been deepened in the past ten years, so it is more urgent to put mathematics culture into practice.The research focuses on the nature and history of mathematics culture studies, its value and mathematics teaching content based on "mathematics culture". Current situation of mathematics culture instruction is researched through the questionnaires of high school students and teachers, finding that the majority of teachers and students are in great need of mathematics culture instruction, but it is difficult to carry it out. Many factors affect the implementation of the teaching of mathematics culture. The reflection of mathematics culture in textbooks and the examination in the College Entrance Examination show that it is of necessity to research mathematics culture. The paper provides some practical cases in the mathematics culture instruction, addresses the effective methods of applying mathematics culture instruction to the teaching of mathematics and gives some teaching suggestions on how to combine mathematics culture with the mathematics teaching.The results show that the majority of students are in favor of combining mathematics culture with the mathematics teaching. Teachers also come to realize mathematics culture instruction promotes the mathematics teaching. In terms of the methods of mathematics culture instruction, mathematics designs based on materials about mathematics culture,mathematics essay writing and mathematics cultural activities are popular with students.Meanwhile, in the course of the study, I have had a thorough understanding of mathematics culture and have adjusted teaching methods, greatly improving my mathematical literacy.This study has a reference to the popularization and promotion of mathematics cultureinstruction and can help carry out mathematics culture instruction in high school mathematics teaching better.
