Two Foundation "(Foundation knowledge & Foundation skill) is the marked character of native mathematics education in a long period. Our students have firm mathematics foundation, which are admitted in the national education evaluation and mathematics competition. However, our studentshave got a strange phenomenon-Good marks and Bad ability to create".The phenomenon makes us have to rethink the Two Foundation* in present, in order to quest its new meaning and new curriculum execution ways.As the production of reform in mathematics curriculum, the Mathematics Standard of Compulsory Education explained the new meaning of Two Foundation" from three levels: macro-thought , mid-thought and micro-thought .There are some changes in understanding mathematics knowledge and some expansion in meaning of mathematics skills. All these show us some new characters of two foundation and make us view the essential mathematics knowledge and skills in dialectic and developmental eyes, also discuss the ensemble status of mathematics two foundation in the new curriculum.The reform of two foundation of mathematics has its theory grounds. It is Education Psychology which provide the reasonableness and the teaching operability from the classing, getting and transferring of the knowledge. The theory must integrate practice, it is not enough if there is theory only . So my paper discuss the implementation ways of teaching two foundation in five faces, they are creating the fitting teaching situation, forming and improving the schemas by variation teaching, promoting the automation of knowledge, promoting the getting of strategy knowledge, developing used and dexterity knowledge. Further more I designed some teaching examples and some new ways to assess, so as to do some work for our mathematics teaching.
