The Investigation And Analysis Of Current Situations On Conducting Electronic Sports In Wuxi Municipal Vocational Schools

In this paper, methods of literature review, expert interview, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics are applied. On the basis of comprehending the origin, actuality and development of electronic sports both at home and abroad, this paper conducted a sampling survey to have a comprehensive understanding of the current situation of electronic sports participated by 7 vocational schools from Wuxi Municipal Schools Management Center, and analyzed the practical conditions of carrying out electronic sports in these 7 schools. The basic conclusions drawn from the research are as following:Firstly, it has great significance and positive influence to carry out electronic sports in vocational schools. Secondly, the number of students who take part in electronic sports is huge and it is greatly favored by them. Thirdly, vocational schools are equipped with the n ecessary facilities for electronic sports, such as the hardware condition with computers and the software condition with faculty and textbooks, etc. Fourthly, there are various electroni c sports events and organizational forms. From all the factors above, we can draw the concl usion that Wuxi municipal vocational schools have possessed the basic qualification for co nducting electronic sports.
