In 1990s, the learning field curriculum model was proposed in Germany. As a new vocational education model following the "dual system vocational education", learning field curriculum changes the traditional branched curriculum centering on the curriculum system, develops curriculum with the work process as direction, highlights the cultivation of vocational abilities, and provides new perspective for the curriculum reform in vocational education.Currently, the scholars in China borrows valuable experience from the learning field curriculum theory of Germany based on in-depth study of this theory, conducts "chinization" practice and promotes the reform of curriculum model in China’s vocational education. However, many problems also exist in the development, implementation and condition guarantee of new curriculum, and this paper tries to explore and study these problems based on theoretical analysis and empirical study.The paper is divided into six parts:The introduction part elaborates the research significance, research background, research thought and research method of the paper, and also makes brief review of the research status of learning field curriculum at home and abroad.The first part in the main body is unfolded combined with the implementation status of curriculum in biotechnology and application major and the main problems in biotechnology and application curriculum include:mismatch of curriculum and practical curriculum requirements; curriculum setting based on curriculum system; traditional and single teaching method; difficulty in cultivation of students’vocational abilities.The second part of the main body makes brief introduction of the emergence background of the learning field curriculum in Germany, its basic concepts and curriculum development methods, thus laying theoretical basis for the following analysis in combination with practical cases.In the third part of the main body, the whole process of curriculum design and development is expounded in detail combined with the practical cases of biotechnology and application on the basis of the theoretical guidance of learning field curriculum development.In the fourth part of the main body, the problems existing in the current implementation of learning field curriculum, the bottlenecks and the response of teachers and students to these difficulties are made into in-depth analysis combined with the questionnaire and interview survey.The fifth part of the main body mainly puts forward relevant suggestions in terms of the problems in implementation including how to quicken the experimental training conditions, construct the teaching management system and evaluation system and constantly improve the quality of vocational education teachers, etc.
