Actual Direction Of College Students In The Consumption Practice Area

Consumerism derived from United States, with the development of global integration, consumerism spread to all over the world. Under the background of reform and opening up in China, consumption changes have taken place in China; China became one of the most affected countries. National consumption habit transferred from guided by the basic needs to symbol consumption oriented habits.The majority of university students’ consumption habits present multiple levels, diverse forms and new concepts. Under the influence of consumerism,there are many different consumption misunderstanding, for example, comparison of consumption habit, excessive consumption habit, premature consumption habit and so on. These mistaken consumption concept and habits deviate from college students healthy consumption habits and concept. These concept and habits different the demand of the socialist core value system. Not only influenced the college students’ mental health development, but also brought hinder on the moral education in colleges and universities.This article started from the perspective of consumerism, based on the consumption theory of sociology, summed up the domestic consumption culture’s changes roughly. With combined methods of quantitative and qualitative research methods, using multi-stage stratified sampling method, employ the methods of factor analysis, correlation analysis and ELES model. Select some college students to complete questionnaire survey in Shanghai, obtained data through the questionnaire results and analyze the data. The aim is to analyze college students’ consumption status by empirical method and to find out the cause of college students’ consumption misunderstanding region and put forward solutions. To encourage the social work handle the ideological education level, to make improvement for the college students’ consumption education.
