Chinese traditional culture is the cultural accumulation in one thousand years, which is the spiritual and cultural heritage of Chinese ancestors. Culture has continuity and relative independence. And the culture of each era innovates and develops based on the former culture. The culture has a motile reaction towards social economic structure and the political structure. On the one hand, when the culture adapts to political and economic development, culture will promote the development of political economy, and on the other hand, when the culture is behind the political and economic development, it will hinder the development of political and economic. Chinese traditional culture contains the cultural factors in different historical stages in China and the characteristics of these cultural factors have different performance. Some cultural factors show the feudal and unproductive; Other cultural factors reflect the objective law of development and the profound thinking of human nature and life. The former plays a role of obstacles to our contemporary education and the latter is the Chinese excellent traditional culture, and it is the important content of our education, which is also the foundation of our ideological and political culture development. Chinese contemporary civic education, is mainly in order to develop the high quality, to adapt to the era of the development of the compound citizen. This kind of complex reflected in terms of individual all-round development, as well as in with others, coordinated development between society and nature. Chinese excellent traditional culture contains the patriotic spirit, harmony spirit, fighting spirit, enterprising spirit and lofty personality which are needed for our contemporary culture compound citizens essential education concept and education material.In 2014, the notice improve the Chinese excellent traditional culture education guidelines issued by the Ministry of education clearly pointed out that the education of Chinese excellent traditional culture "focus on enhancing students’ rational knowledge of Chinese excellent traditional culture, guide the students to sentiment spiritual connotation of Chinese excellent traditional culture, enhance students’ self-confidence of Chinese excellent traditional culture. The current high school ideological and political education contains the content of the Chinese excellent traditional culture education, but the outstanding characteristic is less content, strong generality, rather abstract. Extensive and profound Chinese excellent traditional culture, just rely on some of the senior high school ideological and political education classes to teach, It is difficult to achieve the purpose that educate students based on ideological essence of Chinese traditional culture, enhance students’ rational understanding of Chinese traditional culture and enhance the self-confidence of Chinese traditional culture. Because Chinese excellent traditional culture education is general type infusion with your lecture theory as the main way, it is boring, so it is hard to interest the students, and there is few of high quality of Chinese excellent traditional culture teachers, that has brought a certain obstacles of Chinese excellent traditional culture in high school in the ideological and political education. Therefore, If we want to improve the quality of the Chinese excellent traditional culture education in ideological and political education of high school, we must change the current situation of Chinese excellent traditional culture education. At present, our party and country promotes the Chinese excellent traditional culture to strengthen the moral quality, which in order to improve Chinese excellent traditional culture in the field of ideological and political education status provides policy support. We should make full use of the opportunity, change the backward concept of ideological and political education, guide students to distinguish between the Chinese traditional culture essence and dross, build the atmosphere spread and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture and education environment, to cultivate a Chinese learning accomplishment of teachers, make its real power play to moral education of Chinese excellent traditional culture and values guide. At the same time, we also must improve content system in high school ideological and political education, increase the proportion of Chinese excellent traditional culture in ideological and political teaching materials, and build a fine culture of Chinese and western comparative analysis system, develop and innovate culture using the linking and the development view, guide students to build correct aesthetic culture, promote students to form correct outlook on life, values and world view. Of course, the Chinese excellent traditional culture education must permeate all aspects of student life, only in this way can make students realize that the guiding significance of the Chinese excellent traditional culture. In view of this, we must build system of tertiary education, family, school, society, by parents and teachers guide, together with the government and the society to make the students really into Chinese excellent traditional culture learning, to achieve the effect of moistens everything silently. In addition, we also need to reform the teaching evaluation mechanism, construct diversified evaluation approach, adhere to the people-centered criteria, attaches great importance to the teaching process of evaluation and evaluation of students moral behavior and thinking consciousness change, from omni-directional to test the result of the teaching, to promote the ideological and political education to quality education.
