At present, our country’s higher education is in the high speed development and has appeared certain education stagflation phenomenon at the same time. For higher education stagflation, scholars have already analyzed from four aspects:the education efficiency,benefits,quality and mechanism.The cause of higher education stagflation and higher education stagflation rate measurement were also studied. In order to further research of higher education stagflation phenomenon,we analyse the phenomenon of higher education stagflation from higher education sequence.It helps to solve this problem better.We get some raw data from the the issue of higher education stagflation in 2016 and before by using literature metrology method. Then,we identify keywords related to higher education stagflation by constructing keyword co-occurrence matrix,using social network analysis and with the help of multidimensional scaling analysis model.Finally, we get these keywords data clustering analysed.It is concluded the main body of three factors. The study found: the cause of higher education stagflation can be analysed from three aspects:the education law, the education idea, the education system.This three aspects make up the framework of higher education sequence study:higher education original sequence,higher education virtual sequence,higher education real sequence.The factors belong to higher education original sequence:economic law, talent growth pattern, school scale, internationalization, teaching methods and practice.The factors belong to higher education virtual sequence: people-oriented, applied talents, equality of opportunity, autonomous learning, general education and international communication.The factors belong to higher education real sequence: managing the university by law,self-autonomy in running a university curriculum system,university teachers,international education,faculty governance. We analyze present situation and existing problems of higher education stagflation by building sequence study model and combining with results of literature metrology.We focuse research on the relationship between three factors: higher education original sequence decides higher education virtual sequence and higher education real sequence, higher education virtual sequence have an interaction with higher education real sequence.In the guidance of higher education sequence theory research, we put forward corresponding countermeasures to erase higher education stagflation: Studying higher education original sequence in depth, following higher education school rules;Building scientific higher education virtual sequence,eliminating running error of higher school; Optimizing the real sequence of higher education, innovating mechanism of higher school.
