In the process of the continuous development of scientific research,scientific research cooperation plays a very important role in promoting it,which has been paid more and more attention by researchers,and more researchers have consciously participated in scientific research cooperation.In scientific research cooperation,there is an inter-university cooperation mode,that is,the authors of the published papers are not researchers from the same institution,but belong to two or more first-level units.The benefits brought by such inter-university cooperation are obvious.This mode of scientific research cooperation is conducive to different knowledge exchange,knowledge exchange and innovation of research methods among researchers.Therefore,existing studies have shown that inter-university cooperation can improve the quality of academic papers.In terms of data collection and processing,the selection of China and the United States is2010-2019 the inter-school cooperation in the field of higher education research,and after statistical analysis found that both in terms of cooperation degree,or in rate and social network analysis and relevant indicators,the whole of China higher education research in the inter-school cooperation levels relatively low in the United States,On this basis,the influencing factors of this phenomenon are analyzed concretely.The first factor is location.The geographical location of research institutions acts as a "barrier" to some extent,which limits the inter-university cooperation of universities.In the comparative analysis,higher education research institutions in Chinese mainland are more constrained by the geographical location,and it is difficult to break the regional location for inter-university cooperation.Followed by the development of higher education also have certain influence to inter-school cooperation,through the correlation analysis and comparative analysis it can be seen by the rapid development of higher education in the region of the inter-school cooperation degree is relatively high,and the mainland of China and the comparison and analysis,found the development of higher education of the differences between the Chinese mainland,it led to the influence of the inter-school cooperation.Again,higher education research inter-school cooperation polarization will affect the overall inter-school cooperation,through the standard deviation and variance analysis,found that higher education research in China and the study of the high strength of the inter-school cooperation organization,the more able to participate in the inter-school cooperation,and low strength of colleges and universities are hard to participate in to the more cooperation,This also results in the overall low degree of cooperation.Finally,the history and culture of Chinese mainland and the United States will also have an impact on scientific research cooperation.Affected by collectivism culture,Chinese mainland is difficult to break through existing social institutions and establish cooperative relations with strangers,which also affects the generation of intercollegiate cooperation to a certain extent.This study is of great significance in many aspects.At the theoretical level,it shows that the overall degree of inter-university cooperation in higher education research in Chinese mainland is relatively low,and there is still a lot of room for improvement,as well as the important factors that affect the low degree of inter-university cooperation in higher education in Chinese mainland.At the practical level,some studies have shown that academic papers published by inter-university cooperation are of higher quality.Therefore,improving the overall level of inter-university cooperation in higher education can not only improve the level of academic papers,but also promote and enhance the development of higher education.
