The Influence Of Popular Culture In University Campus On Ideological And Political Education

With the development of modern communication technology, popular culture penetrated into people’s daily lives, affecting people’s values, ways of thinking and living habits. College students as a semi-socialized special group, which has a keen insight, imagination and innovative creativity, which makes the university campus has become an important place for the generation and dissemination of popular culture, producing a special popular culture phenomenon-popular culture-popular culture in university campus. Popular culture in university campus is full of personality, entertainment, sharing and other features, which cater to college students’psychological demands. Of course, the effects of popular culture in university campus has both the positive side and negative side, in the face of the spread of popular culture in university campus, educators how to carry forward the advantages and avoid the disadvantages, targeted to improve their work efficiency is particularly important. In positive ways, popular culture in university campus can cultivate the students’ subject consciousness, it is good to the innovation of the ideological and political education content, method and language. In negative ways, popular culture in university campus influenced the students’ political values and moral values, to some extent it weakens the educators status and education effect.
