Junior is a transition period in one’s life development, in which students often suffer a lot of mental health problems because their immature and other reasons from school or out of school. So the psychological health education in junior high seems so important and meaningful.In recent years, with more and more attention paid on the psychological health education, a certain number of novice teachers join in this work. As new teachers,since their career and professional development are at the first stage, how to do this work successfully is not only important to their own development but also important to school’s psychological health education.Research shows that critical incidents plays an important role in teacher professional development. The aim of the research is to analyze the expression of ceitical incidents in the renew of teachers’ knowledge on psychological health education and the promotion of their professional development and ideas based on the case, and also to analyze principle of critical incidents promoting teachers’ professional development to propose advice abou school management.Case analysis shows that critical incidents plays an important role in renewing teachers’ knowledge on psychological health education. Mainly in the promotion of teachers’ reflection of their knowledge’s level and width, in the promotion of their attention on higher education level and in the promotion of the conbination of the psychological knowledge and main academic interests in education.Critical incidents plays an important role in promoting psychological health education teachers’ professional competence. Mainly in the promotion of their attention on teaching ability development, teachers’ interests on reaserch, teachers’ correct understanding of the characteristics of secondary school’s research activities,teachers’ ability on teaching reflection, and their attention on education level.Critical incidents also plays an important role in promoting teachers’ professionalideas. It consolidate teachers’ pursuit of noble virtue. It promoting them to look themselves in a proper way both at society value and personal value. It corrects teachers’ view of teaching, opinion about students and idea about teaching activity.This research based on case analysis. It hold the view that the mechanism of promoting teachers’ professional development is when teachers stimulated by objective information(key information) they treat(assessment and reflection) their professional development level rationally, then access concept of professional development, content and methods, and at last use thses informaton to improve themselves to attain a higher professional level. These are all based on the occassion that new tescher(stand by)without many profesional knowledge, professional ability and professional philosophy,at the same time they have the desire(acceptabal amount of information) to develop their professional level.This study hold the view that we can use above mechanism to guide the teachers’ professional development. And conclude four policy: guiding new teachers analyze their own professional standards, stimulating their achievement motive in new teachers’ professional development, avoiding an environment full of information for the teacher and supervise new teacher implement professional development.
