STS education is in recent years of education reform in the world advocate a new concept of science education. It emphasizes the interaction between science, technology and society, pay attention to science and technology of the social value and practical application, to promote science and technology to better serve humanity better. In middle school geography teaching in the penetration of STS education, the implementation of the organic combination of science, technology and society, meet the needs of geography curriculum reform, to strengthen the students’ science attitude and science and technology, scientific literacy, promote students’ all-round and free development.In this paper, the STS education in high school geography teaching in the penetration of research as the main content, the multiple intelligence theory,constructivism theory and humanism theory as the theoretical basis for middle school geography teachers interviews as the practice basis, using literature analysis, experience summary and other research methods, based on an overview of the research background and significance, the research status at home and abroad, the research purpose and content, research ideas and methods and the interpretation of the concept and features of the STS, the PEP high school geography compulsory 1, 2, 3 required compulsory textbooks as the starting point, combined with the teaching content, chapter, section column, penetration point reveals the STS education, provides some teaching reference.According to focus on investigation of high school geography teaching penetration of STS education in three ways, using theme seminars, inquiry experiment and model demonstration of infiltrating STS education in classroom teaching, through the knowledge contest, window display and the theme of the school activities in the implementation of penetration of STS education, participate in field trips, social survey and research in the school of social practice penetration of STS education, and the combination of different angles, the theme of the novel, contact life, strong operation"Earth Hour" topics, "map exhibition history window display," quake resistant buildings"social surveys and other typical cases, which further indicates that the penetration of the high school geography teaching the value of STS education is necessary and feasible way.Although binding to human teaches the version high school geography textbook content, analysis of the chapters in the textbook contains STS education infiltration point, seeps the STS education is the main way to the high school geography teaching research to a certain extent, but still need to expand the geography teaching in the penetration of STS education characteristics and principles and practice of the use of feedback, in order to effective implementation of geography classroom teaching three dimensional goal, cultivate the students’ scientific spirit and scientific literacy.
