On The Education Of Students As The Center In Political Lessons

Over the years, the ideological and political education has been influenced by the traditionaleducation idea and mode deeply. The main teaching method is the lecture by teachers in thepast, lack of learning fun and participatory. After the education reforming, the definition of Student-oriented Education comes into school and gets the attention of people more and more.Student-oriented Education emphasizes the "student-oriented", which means under this model, teachers need respect the dominant position of the students. This paper presents the research results of Student-oriented Education applied in Ideological and political course.First of all, based on related literature data collection, the connotation of the ideological and political education course and the students’ characteristics, theoretical basis and practical significance are discussed here. Secondly, the author participated in Jinzhou No.2 Senior High School’s ideological and political education classes. Through the investigation of the data from Jinzhou No.2 Senior High School, the author concludes that ideological and political course under Student-oriented Education Model still have some problems although its achievements are substantial. Through the analysis, the author concludes that the problems are from the contradictions between the ideological and political education classes and the new model’s enforcement strength, teachers’ evaluation system, the pressure of studying for the college entrance examination and so on.Finally, the author gives some suggestions about the problems: The ideological and political education under student-based education model should pay attention to the guidance of this education idea; to dig the teaching material of student-based education factors in theideological and political education; the practice of the student-based education; to build the ideological and political education classroom under the new model.
