Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,my country's socialist modernization has made historic achievements.Standing at a new historical starting point,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new stage of development.This has raised a higher level of national and talent quality in the new era.It is claimed that “Ordinary High School Ideological and Political Course Standards(2017)" advocates that high school ideological and political courses should be constructed as an activity-based curriculum led by cultivating the core literacy of ideological and political disciplines,cultivate innovative spirit,improve practical ability,and promote the all-round development of students.The implementation of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political classes is not only conducive to cultivating students' sense of innovation and ability,guiding students to establish a correct outlook on the world,life and values,and fulfilling the fundamental task of establishing morality,but also conducive to forcing teachers to constantly update teaching philosophy and improving professional ability are in line with the requirements of socialist modernization for talents.However,as a new teaching method,topic-based teaching is still in a period of theoretical and practical exploration.Teachers do not have a deep understanding of topic-based teaching.There are still confusions and even misunderstandings about how to apply it to teaching practice effectively.Based on this,this article is based on theoretical analysis through the three stages of pre-class,in-class,and after-class to specifically and meticulously explore the implementation paths and methods of topic-based teaching,and combine it with the lesson "Where does the understanding of man come from" Linking theory with practice,specifically explaining how to design and implement topic-based teaching.This article is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The body mainly includes the following four parts: The first part summarizes the related theories of topic-based teaching,including the definition of related concepts,the characteristics of topic-based teaching,and the theoretical basis of topic-based teaching.The second part expounds the significance of the implementation of topic-based teaching in senior ideological and political courses.The third part specifically explores the implementation strategies of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses.This part is the key chapter of this article.The fourth part takes "Where does the knowledge of man come from" in the compulsory course of the new textbook of the unified edition four as an example.To demonstrate the specific lesson examples to realize the combination of theory and practice.In order to provide theoretical and practical help and reference for senior high school ideological and political teachers to carry out topic-based teaching.
