With the advancement of urbanization, the trend of migrant population by family is more and more obvious. Floating children following their parents into the new city,community, wether they can get a good healthy growth has become the hot topic discussed constantly all over the society.Based on plenty of observation and interview data,the paper discovered the floating children had bad personality performance in cognition、emotion、willpower.Cognitive characteristics consist of the low level of self-esteem 、 fuzzy identification and unclear objective consciousness. Emotion characteristics include alienated parent-child relationship、peer interaction and more negative feelings.Willpower characteristics include feeble discipline consciousness and not strong active consciousness and weak psychological enduring capacity.Also,the paper points out the influencing factors in children’s healthy personality cultivation from family, school, society and explain the necessity of healthy personality cultivation for floating.Then the paper uses strengths perspective and the developmental approach as an analytical framework to carry out the practical activities of forming healthy personality quality. It makes floating children acquire target behaviors and has reached the expected goal,and form a practical intervention strategies for reference.The full text is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction,which introduces the research background of this article, the research results at home and abroad, the research significance, key concepts, research methods and theoretical basis. The second part consists of two parts.First of all, the paper introduces the bad personality traits of migrant children in cognition, emotion, and willpower.Secondly,the article from three dimensions such as family, school, society to interpret the influence factors for floating children’s personality cultivation, points out the necessity to help children to develop healthy personality. The third part is the main part of the article, introducing how the auther using the developmental approach to carry out practical activities in children’s healthy personality forming process. The fourth part is the practical reflection part, which is explained from the results of practice activities and insufficiency, the application of the theory and the advantagesand disadvantages of group work method in the paper. The fifth part is the conclusion of the article, reveals the effectiveness of the work method and the developmental approach in intervening migrant children’s healthy personality cultivation.
