The ideological and political education is the important mean to improve college students’ psychological sub-health status, is the values guide and the guarantor to foster university student’s world outlook, the outlook on life, Strengthening ideological and political education is one of the important ways to improve the level of College Students’ mental health.At present, the college students’ mental health problem is increasingly highlight, mainly manifested in some college students, such as physical disorder, self cognitive impairment, interpersonal relationships and emotional barriers and other phenomena. Of course, due to the rapid social transformation and development of college students’ subject consciousness, If we don’t pay timely to improve college students’ mental sub-health state, part of the college students’ mental conflict phenomenon will be intensified. Part of the college students’ mental conflict phenomenon becoming more serious. In this article, through quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of the combination of research methods, on the basis of found that age, gender, family economic condition, social culture, value orientation, ideological and political theory class, interpersonal communication, and parents’ words and deeds are the important factors that affect the college students’ mental health.In view of the present situation and reasons, this article put forward to improve college students’ mental health status of countermeasures and Suggestions from four aspects:building multi-channel, omni-directional mode of education, improving education content, improving education method, creating education environment. Lastly the paper expounds the other special psychological sub-health status on the female college students, poor college students and the handicapped students, and providing the corresponging policy recommendations and data support for non special groups of college students and special groups of students.
