The present university students in China were all born from 1993 to 1999, when they have become the main force in universities, it becomes of vital importance to explore and perfect patriotism education. In order to train outstanding talents for Chinese socialism, we should expand our horizon to the whole world on the basis of our own country, and look forward to the future on the basis of the present.The thesis starts from the concept of patriotism education on the generation of post-90 s, takes the situation of patriotism education in Shanxi as an example, and comprehensively and thoroughly analyzes the achievements and shortcomings in patriotism education thorough questionnaire survey. Furthermore, it dissects the reasons of shortcomings and discusses on the solution to improve patriotism education on the college students of post-90 s, includes intensification of theory construction of patriotism education, exploration of new methods, development of efficient approaches and creation of harmonious environment.The thesis focuses on researching the epochal feature and effectiveness of patriotism education on the generation of post-90 s, it will be helpful to enrich and perfect the educational theory, realize the comprehensive development and growth of university students, and contribute dynamism to build China into a moderately prosperous society.
