Graduate tutorial system is a basic system in postgraduate education, and it plays an important role in it.Graduate student tutor,as a direct participant in postgraduate education,is responsible for postgraduates’ study and scientific research,which has a great influence on postgraduates’ thought 、 academic level and scientific research ability. So,to know postgraduates’ expectation and construct tutor team based on their expectation can not only meet their psychological and developmental need,but also become tutors’ external constraint conditions,which is important to improve tutors’ quality、guarantee tutors’ effective guidance and improve the quality of postgraduates’ education.The study includes the introduction part and main part.Introduction part is divided into six aspects:topic origin, literature review, research design, research significance, innovation and the definition of the concept.The main part consists of the following four parts:First,the study takes role expectation theory、hierarchy of needs theory、human resource theory for teachers as theoretical basis,and expounds the significance of tutor team construction based on postgraduates’ expectation from four perspectives,which are postgraduate education quality, postgraduates’ development, tutors’ effective guidance, the sustainable development of postgraduates education.Second,after determining the research ideas,the study uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview,case analysis methods to carry out the research on postgraduates from different majors and grades in BH university.According to results,the study calculates out postgraduates’ five expectations of tutors:The basic conditions, academic conditions, teaching conditions, learning guidance conditions and other aspects,then compares the statistical results with realistic condition.Third,through the comparative analysis between “reality” and “expectation”, the paper summarizes the differences between them,and dig out the reasons.Fourth,the paper puts forward feasible measures for the construction of high-quality tutor team from three aspects:basic principles of tutor team construction、institution of tutor team construction that universities should complete、postgraduates’ expectations that tutors’ should know,in order to clarify the construction of tutor team based on postgraduates’ expectations.
