The proposing of constructing innovation country goal, attracting more and more attention on postgraduate education. As a measure of postgraduate education quality, the innovation ability has become the focus. Compared with American and European countries, the overall innovation ability level of our graduate is not high. Tutor-student relationship is an important influence factor of innovation ability. Both tutor factors or personal factors'fulfillment, need harmonious relationship.This paper will be divided into five parts. The first part of this paper introduces the reasons and significance of the research topic, has analyzed the current relevant research at home and abroad, and the core concept. Part two is the theoretical research that the tutor-student relationship influences to postgraduate's innovation ability, describe the theoretical foundation, analyze the type of the present tutor-student relationship, and how the harmonious type relationship help innovation ability to train. Part three proceed with questionnaire investigation, has analyzed the real right states of postgraduates' innovation ability and tutor-student relationship. Part four launch the discussion around the reasons why the innovation ability level is not high from tutor-student relationship angle, key analysis on tutor's education idea, students' learning motivation, tutor and students associate quality. Part five carried on the discussion of the countermeasure to the reasons.This paper holds that, disharmonious tutor-student relationship lies in both tutor and student factors, and the quality of association. Disharmonious relationship will greatly influence the teaching effect, and the innovation ability training. Constructing harmonious relationship, needs the effort of tutor,student and tutor-students'interaction.
