Teaching decision-making ability is the concentrated expression of teachers’ teaching wisdom, and it is the key factor to influence the teaching effect. Teaching decision-making occurred in the each stage of teaching activities, teachers will inevitably make a series of teaching decision-making, teachers’ teaching decision-making will directly or indirectly affect the teaching effect. At the same time, new teacher as a new member of the teaching staff, their behavior is not mature enough in teaching activities, Some of their abilities have yet to be developed. Therefore, in order to improve the overall quality of teachers and optimize the teaching quality, it is necessary to pay attention to the cultivation and improvement of teaching decision-making ability of new teachers.This article mainly uses the theory research method and the questionnaire survey method. By using the method of theoretical research, generalizing the teachers’ decision-making and teaching decision-making ability of previous research results at home and abroad. And it can be found that the existing research rarely involves the teaching decision-making ability of new teachers. In order to better understand the current situation of the new teachers’ teaching decision-making ability, the questionnaire survey was used to investigate some of the new teachers in this province. Through the survey found that the new teacher’s teaching decision-making ability has four aspects of the problem. For instance, lack of rational decision-making knowledge; the image of the decision thinking anchor; the decision cooperation consciousness is weak; the decision reflection consciousness is not strong. Faced with these problems, this paper puts forward practical strategies to improve the teaching decision-making ability of the new teachers from the four perspectives that teacher education institutions, teachers’ post schools, teachers’ personal and teacher evaluation mechanism.The innovation of this paper is that the research object is new teacher. New teachers are in the critical stage of professional development. paying close attention to the cultivation of new teachers It’s helpful in promoting the professional, improving the overall quality of new teachers and improving the quality of teaching in schools.
