Marxism theoretical education has always been the "lifeline" of our Party’s economic work and all other work.This paper focuses on the colleges and universities of China,which occupy an important position in our country’s Marxism theoretical education.This paper chooses the effectiveness of Marxism theoretical education as research horizon and follow the "theory-history-reality" of the logical sequence as frame.On the basis of related connotation and significance of enhancing the effectiveness of Marxism theoretical education,the paper analyzes the historical process and experience of Marxism theoretical education in colleges and universities since the founding of People’s republic of China.By exploring the outstanding problems and causes which hinder the promotion of Marxism theoretical education’s effectiveness,the paper tries to provide some basic principles and countermeasures.The paper includes three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.To study the topic of Marxism theoretical education’s effectiveness deeply, firstly we should clarify theoretical and practical significance of the topic.Secondl y,absorb the essence and point out flaw during reference the related academic res earch results.Thirdly, research methods and innovations also should be noted clear ly.Two aspects:concept of definition and significance of the thesis are the logical and theoretical basis of the paper writing.Marxism theoretical education is not a n isolated, static historical phenomenon, but an open, dynamic process of develo pment.Therefore,in this paper the historical process of Marxism theoretical educati on in colleges and universities is classified as preliminary exploration, tortuous d evelopment and thrive development in three stages.The studying of Marxism theo retical education’s effectiveness should be placed in the long history and today’s rapidly changing trends of times.Only in this way can we summarize rich histori cal experience and identify a number of problems existing in current education p ractice.Enhancing the effectiveness of Marxism theoretical education is a complex p roject which is limited by specific and objective condition.The rapid expansion o f globalization,informatization and market economy system not only brings favora ble factors but also brings multiple challenges.Therefore,our educators shoulder gr eat responsibility in grasping opportunities and meeting challenges. Everything ha s both positive and negative aspects,Marxism theoretical education is no exceptio n.China’s Marxism theoretical education has made great achievements,however,it i s undeniable that lower effectiveness has become a short board which restrain co ntemporary college students’ theoretical education at the same time.We consider t hat a variety of factors intertwined,result in this unsatisfactory situation,for examp le,subject and object,contents,methods and evaluation.Under the premise of scientif ic scrutiny to present situation,we should follow four basic principles:unification of scientific and political,combination of theory and practice,interaction between s ubject and object,consistent of instill and inspire,so that we can improve and perf ect the above restrictive factors,also propose a number of initiatives.The conclusio n is we must emancipate our minds,seek truth from facts,promote theoretical edu cation concept, content, method, system, environment and other aspects of innova tion with reform awareness,only in this way can we improve effectiveness, and f orm a vigorous situation of Marxism theoretical education in colleges and univer sities.
