| As an important power in China’s innovation system, the innovation ability of University scientific research team is a direct reflection of China’s technological level. As Academic leaders in the university scientific research team, they are very important in improving team’s innovation ability. This paper starts from the influence of academic leadership’s behavior on the innovation ability of university scientific research team,and analyzes the specific relationship between the behavior of different academic leadership and the innovation ability of scientific research teamin universities.So as to make this research results have practical and have a positive impact on the cultivation and construction of innovative research team, then improve the innovation ability of scientific research team in universities.Firstly, this paper reviews the domestic and foreign related research, and defines the related concepts of academic leaders, university scientificresearch team and innovation ability, and expounds the necessity of this research. Then based on the theory of transformational and transactional leadership, this paper explains the independent variable, dependent variable and related variables. At the same time,this paper puts forward the research hypotheses, that is the leadership behavior of the academic leaders of the enterprise and financial incentive is positively related to the innovation ability of the university scientific research team. The academic leadership’s behavior of indulgence type is negatively related to the innovation ability of scientific research team in universities. Team size and team development stage is related to the innovation ability of university research team. On the basis of this, the paper summarizes the design situation of the innovation abilityofscientificresearchteam in university, then puts forward three dimensional index system of innovation ability of scientific research team in university and constructs a conceptual model of the leadership behavior of academic leaders and the innovation ability of scientific research team in Colleges and universities. Finally, through distribution of questionnaire, descriptive statistics andanalysis of questionnaire data,using factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis methods,in this paper,186 valid samples from 8 universities in Sichuan province are analyzed to verify the hypotheses of this paper. The results of empirical research show that the hypotheses proposed in this paper have been verified.The conclusion shows that the academic leadership’s behavior has a significant correlation with the innovation ability of scientific research team in universities.The career type academic leadership’s behavior and the innovation ability of scientific research team in universivities is significantly positive correlation, which is also significantly positive correlation between the four dimensions and the innovation ability of scientific research team in universivities, especially the two dimensions of the two dimensions of intellectual stimulation and charisma influencehave the most significant effect on the innovation ability of scientific research team in universities.The academic leadership’s behavior of the financial incentive type is significantly positively related to the innovation ability of the scientific research team in universities,but the influence of the innovation ability of scientific research team is less than the career typeacademic leaders.Among them, There is a significant positive correlation between contingent reward and innovation abilityof scientificresearch team inuniversities,but the relationship between prior incentive and innovation ability of university scientific research team is not significant; The academic leadership’s behavior of indulgence type is significantly negatively related to the innovation ability of scientific research team in universities.In the stable period of scientific research team’s innovation ability is better than the formation period, the team size has no obvious effect on the innovation ability of scientific research team in universities. |
