Research Purpose.First of all, we’ll have a comprehensive understanding on theoretical knowledge concerning concurrent training by abundant literature reading and accumulating. Secondly,we hope to find out the trend and relations among muscular strength, muscular explosive force and body composition under the concurrent training of muscular strength and aerobic endurance, and analyze the reason accounting for the changes. At last, based upon a large amount of related studies at home and abroad, the research will help with further analysis and discussion about concurrent training of strength and endurance.Experimental method.(1) Training Method: ① Strength training of extensor muscles and lower limb and knees. The intention of 1RM during the first two weeks was 75% that of initial experimental phase.During the third and forth week, we took 75% of 1RM test result of the second week to run this week’s test. During the fifth and sixth week, we took 75% of 1RM test result of the forth week to run this week’s test. During the seventh and eighth week, we took 75% of1 RM test result of the sixth week to run this week’s test. 6 times of repetition were required every set in each time’s training, and there were totally 3 sets and 2 minutes’ break between each one of them. ② Aerobic endurance training was run through cycle ergometer, and the subjects were supposed to keep a rotational speed of 60/min for 20 minutes. During the first two weeks, the exercise was completed by 65%-70%(HRmax). And the subjects completed the exercise by 70%-75%(HRmax) during the third and forth week, 75%-80%(HRmax)during the fifth and sixth week, and 80%-85%(HRmax) during the seventh and eighth week.③ The schedule of concurrent training. The two methods, muscular strength training and aerobic endurance training, would be run on the same day sequentially, twice per week.(2)Test methods. ① The test method of knee-joint extensor muscular strength. The test system of kinetism was adjusted to isometric mode. The subjects did isometric knee extension for three times, 5 seconds for each time, during which subjects were required to put their strength gradually to maximum. There were 3 minutes’ break between each set of knee extension. At last, the maximum peak value of the three isometric knee extension was taken as the muscular strength value of knee-joint extensor. ② The test method of knee-joint extensor’s explosive force. The isometric mode of kinetism test system stayed static.Subjects were required to do isometric knee extension in a fastest and maximum manner for twice, and 3 minutes’ break in between. The twice maximum value and corresponding time of contractility-time curve were recorded.Result Analysis.(1) After 8 weeks’ sole strength training, indexes of the subject in strength group changed to different extent, and some changed prominently(P<0.01), including weight(4.43%↑),muscle volume(4.87%↑), BMI index(4.42%↑), muscular strength(34.84%↑), muscle explosive force(36.35%↑).(2) After 8 weeks’ sole endurance training, indexes of the subject in endurance group changed to different extent, and some changed prominently(P<0.01), including weight(2.72%↑), muscular strength(4.75%↑), muscular explosive force(3.74%↑). Meanwhile, values such as fat volume(8.56%↓), muscle volume(1.57%↓), BMI index(2.24%↓) had prominent changes, while BFP changed insignificantly(P<0.05).(3) After 8 weeks’ concurrent training including both muscular strength and aerobic endurance, indexes of the subject in this group changed to different extent, and some changed prominently(P<0.01), including weight(2.7%↑), muscle volume(3.6%↑), BMI index(2.57%↑), muscular strength(32.21%↑), muscular explosive force(25.36%↑). Meanwhile,BFP(4.74%↓) changed significantly(P<0.05), while body fat volume didn’t(P>0.05).(4) Without any training for 8 weeks, indexes of the subject in the control group changed to different extent. Most of the indexes had significant change after the experiment(P>0.05),except muscular explosive force RFD.Conclusion.(1) The transformation tendency of body fat volume and muscle volume of concurrent training group was in close proximity to that of strength training group, and contrary to that of endurance training group.(2) The concurrent training is incompatible with muscle strength, and the transformation tendency of muscular strength between strength group and concurrent group were inconsistent.(3) The concurrent training is incompatible with muscle explosive force, and the transformation tendency of muscle explosive force between strength group and concurrent group were inconsistent.
