With the increasing development of science and technology, the transmission channel of information has gradually shifted from the traditional television, radio, newspapers,magazines to new media. New Media has a rich information content, the diversity of forms of communication, real-time dissemination of information, the exchange interaction,personalized communication behavior and other characteristics,As a group with active ideas but has not yet established a correct judgments and values, college students could be influenced in this tangled new media era. The emergence of new media has an influence on thoughts, actions and value orientation of teachers and students, which broaden ways of information acquisition, learning and interpersonal communication, but at the same time its negative impact also appear increasingly. We must start from reality, analyze the pros and cons to expand the positive effects and eliminate the negative effects of new media. In addition, we should also making full use of its function of direction of public opinion and take new measures to construct campus culture.This article is based on research of new media, in-depth analysis of the impact of new media on the construction of university campus culture, and propose appropriate countermeasures.The first chapter mainly discusses the research background, research of theoretical significance and practical value. The part of literature review discusses the domestic and foreign scholars of the research status of new media and college campus culture,the research content, research method and innovation points; the second chapter mainly defines the concept of new media and campus culture as well as the function of new media on the construction of campus culture in colleges and universities; the third chapter throughanalyzing the results of questionnaire survey to find out new media’s influence on the college campus culture and the causes of its negative effects; The fourth chapter discusses the new media environment, from the old and new media platform to promote integration, create a building with a leading new media platforms, strengthening the new media team, teachers guide students to increase new media, to improve students’ use of the new media five aspects of self-regulation, put forward a sound Countermeasures of campus culture construction.
