To respond to the development of times, cooperative learning has become of three main learning methods that New Curriculum Reform advocates as well as the new field that middle and primary schools explore in class. In class teaching, individual accountability play a major role. It is not only the main content of cooperative learning but also the premise and foundation for the realization of inner value that promote individuals to make progress.Through class observation and teaching internship, it finds the implementation of cooperative learning stays superficial, formal and simplified. Then relevant literature is reviewed to further learn and explore theories of cooperative learning and it finds the academia’s research on cooperative learning is not deep enough. In particular, researches on individual accountability are especially weaker. Individual accountability, as an important factor of cooperative learning, contains rich contents. The consciousness of accountability is the key point of individual accountability. Therefore, the paper takes it as the breaking point to explore the great significance of developing the Consciousness of accountability on in-depth study cooperative learning theories and guiding its class practice based on emphasis of individual accountability.In the society, individuals have their social attribute. In a social relationship, the cooperative learning emphasizing active and interdependent relationship emphasizes that individuals have a relationship of solidarity with partners and accountability refer to responsibility that individuals should fulfill in the social relationship as well as the consequences that they should assume. Therefore, individual accountability are not limited to spiritual strength that individuals implement their obligations, but also the huge driving force to help persons fulfill their accountability actively. The paper explores teaching education by studying development of the consciousness of accountability from the content of the consciousness of accountabilitiy in individual accountability and classroom teaching practice by combining High-School Ideology and Politics classes.Chapter One, the introduction part, demonstrates the research topic and explains its significance, research thoughts and methods. Then, starting from studies on cooperative learning, the hot topic of education studies, the paper focuses on problems arising in High-School Ideology and Politics class teaching with cooperative learning and finds the reason that the researches guiding the teaching practice of the cooperative learning is relatively weak and it’s the theoretical researches are not deep or accurate enough. Though literature, it finds that current cooperative learning studies pay less attention to individual accountability, the important factor. Therefore, the paper selects it as the research direction and explores its relevant literature. It is found that there are rich contents about individual accountabily, which shows this part is very important. Hence, the paper takes developing the consciousness of accountability in individual accountability as the research object. This topic is of great significance to further study the cooperative learning theory and promote students to assume their individual reliability, develop the sense of accountability and realize inner value of cooperative learning in the learning and teaching practice of High-School Ideology and Politics classes.Chapter Two is the theoretical basis research, which theoretically discusses the development of the consciousness of accountability based on individual accountability. With the starting point of the relationship between individual accountability and the cooperative learning, it points out individual accountability are the premise and important factor the cooperative learning. Then, the paper explores the specific connotations of individual accountability and finds at first, it refers an individual’s unique accountability and more importantly, it means the mutual support, cooperation and accountability fulfillment. The consciousness of accountability is crucial to the implementation of individual accountability. The development of the sense of accountability based on individual accountability includes three main aspects, i.e., identifying the contents of accountability, improving the ability to improve the prediction of behavioral outcomes as well as courage to assume accountability.Chapter Three explores several methods of developing the sense of accountability based on the individual accountability of the cooperative learning. By referring to Theory of Liability and Social Interaction Theory and utilizing literature review, case studies, class observation and individual interview, it discusses several methods of developing the consciousness of accountability by combining classroom teaching of High-School Ideology and Politics. With relevant teaching measures, it helps individuals identify their own accountability, get aware of sharing accountability with classmates and realize their prediction of behaviors will influence their partners and the group and receive tasks. At the same time, they have to be aware that partners shall undertake consequences of their own behaviors. At this process, the sense of achievement and pressure of accountability will be generated.Chapter Four proposes to develop identified individual’s sense of accountability by designing individual accountability table in the cooperative learning class and specify behavior requirements and consequence for individuals in the cooperative activities as well as develop students’ consciousness to predict their behavior consequence, make clear accountability undertaker and the specific ways and help their awareness of undertaking accountability consciously.Chapter Five, as the conclusion part of the research, summarizes the main conclusions and gives a predictive thinking for the future researches.
