With Outward Bound entering into China and being widely applied and accepted by training sector, its experiential learning model and the remarkable effect in promoting the development of people’s physical and mental health and social adaptation ability makes it combine with school education gradually, and how to introduce Outward Bound into school curriculum has become a hot topic in researches nowadays. But now it mainly focuses on higher education, and few attention is paid on the researches on how to develop Outward Bound in primary and secondary school education especially the primary education.This study takes the fifth grade students of a primary school in Yinchuan as object, integrating Outward Bound with the PE course and applying such research methods as literature study, questionnaire, interview, observation and case analysis to analyze the teaching effects of the PE class with Outward Bound. It shows, through ten practical teaching activities, this method significantly improve the students’ interests and activities to study. Meanwhile, it also promotes the sound development of their psychology states and the capability of adapting to the society. In this sense, Outward Bound boasts a certain practical value for PE class teaching in the primary schools and this model deserves a wide application around China.
