With the development of economic globalization and cultural by leaps and bounds and the impact of China’s social transformation, all sorts of problem has been emerged, including the ideal and belief education of College Students. How to solve the education of ideals and beliefs of science to make students really learn, really understand, trust and use the Marx doctrine. It causes the attention of some scholars. However, most scholars’ research is concentrated on the subject of Ideological and political education. The author believes that Ideal and belief education of college students is the cultural identity of education, which is based on the recognition of cultural Marxism and cultural essence of traditional Chinese culture. Analysis from the perspective of cultural identity, probe the ideal and belief education of college students is conducive to the students. It is good for college students to overcome cognitive confused about ideal and faith in the fierce social competition, find their own self-identity, and it contributes to the cause of building socialism in our country.This paper is divided into four parts all together, including the introduction and three chapters. The introduction clarifies the significance of cultural identity under the faith and ideal education perspective, research status and literature. The first chapter, summarize identity logic. The identification goes through initial national ethnic identity, then Medieval religious identity. Finally, the development of cultural identity. Cultural identity and the ideal and faith education has internal consistency and necessity of combining. The second chapter analyzes the current situation and opportunities and challenges of cultural Identity under perspective of students’ ideal and belief education for college students. Through the network questionnaire, we could know more about the status of Ideal belief education of college students and the opportunities and challenges. The opportunities exemplification of the ideal and belief education of college students’ from the perspective of cultural identity. The multivariate era opens up the fresh perspectives for faith and ideal education, also provide new media and thinking. Challenge is reflected as below: the identity crisis of college students in the social transition period. Under the multivariate cultural agitation, the political awareness of the weakening of the social identity crisis. Globalization has led to lack of traditional cultural and belonging. The third chapter is the solution to the study of College Students’ ideal and belief education from the perspective of cultural identity. The paper is described several ways: First, improve identity and cultural environment. Second, enrich the identity content. Third, change the method of identification. It provides solutions to the problems of ideal and belief education for college students.
