The Satir Family Therapy Theory In The Application Of The Flowing Family Parent-Child Relationship Improvement

Recent years, the migration trend of flowing family is more obvious.Many migrant workers take spouse and children into the influx city. A survey of 1016 migrant children and 446 non in Beijing city shows that the communication frequency and quality of parent-child of migrant children is lower, the communication time is less and lack initiative.Parent-child relationship is the important component of interpersonal relationship,and it is important between parents and children.Poor parent-child relationship has a significant impact on the development of children and the development of the family,which is not conducive to the cultivation of children’ learning performance and character,and family lack cohesion, contradiction.In the study,the author takes typical flowing family as study object,and chooses the Satir family therapy theory to diagnose and improve the relationship.Then the author defines that the family’s urgent needs are bad parent-child relationship and relationship adjustment,and find the family’s poor parent-child relationship is because of poor family communication patterns,therefore,intervention focus is improving the bad communication and promoting authentic communication.In the intervention, the use of family sculpture skills, important life history analysis and other skills help family find the deep roots of the problem, and tap the family members of the internal resources to achieve change.At the end of the case, the parent-child relationship has been improved through the questionnaire and interview assessment. Last, the author makes a reflection on the whole process, and it is considered that the Satir family therapy theory has good applicability in the improvement of parent-child relationship, there are also some limitations in the current application.
