Group Work In Single-parent Family Teenagers Life Education Research

"Life education" is a product of social development. Besides focusing on the characteristics of life, it also pays more attention to the quality of individual life. The meaning of life education is telling people to cherish their lives, telling them the values and meaning of life, and educating them to be grateful for life and to have a wonderful life.In a populous country like China, the problem of teenagers has always been the hot topic. Especially in recent years, the adolescent suicide cases are increasing. Life education in school and social work is therefore put on agenda. Due to the particularity of single-parent family, problems of adolescents from such families are particularly prominent. This article attempts to explore life education of teenagers in single-parents family from a perspective of social worker. First, to investigate and analyze the life education status of Nuan Xin Plan team member and st udents of SIP Primary School, and to interview teachers for life education status in school. Acquaintance the teenagers life education consciousness and the problems existing in the education system. After that, using the method of group work to carry out the relevant group activities, to make up the deficiency of school life education, and to improve the target adolecents’ perception of life, to help them to cherish life be grateful to life, Finally, to evaluate the team work and the results of this group activity.
