The family that was based on marriage is suffering fromgreat stress, this situation led to Divorce rate increase rapidly. Natural disasters andaccidents happened because of the unpredictability, this situation led to Widowedfamilies increase rapidly. A single parent family problem has become a social problemcan not be ignored. Parent-child relationship is the most fundamental and most importantfamily relationship, in this special family relation, single parents and their children aremore likely to conflict with each other in their family life, bad Parent-child relationshipaffect parents and their children’s mental health and behaviors, and also is unfavorable tothe family harmony and healthy development.In this paper, take parent-child conflict between single parents and their children ofBeijia community as the service object, mainly by using group work method that is oneof three major professional social work method carry out the activities, holding A HappyFamily activity, in order to improve the parent-child relationship in single parent family,and from the team recruitment, activities to carry out the early, middle and late activitiesintroduce the group work. Parent and children of single-parent family throughparticipating in Happy Family activity to raising awareness of parent-child relationship,guide parent and child learning effective communication skills with harmony,parent-child interaction to solve parent-child conflicts, improve the parent-childrelationship, showed the advantage that use team work to solve the parent-child problemsof the single parent family in the community. To evaluate the results of the HappyFamily group activity, for a detailed analysis into activity achievements and deficiency,and combining the situation of the community to carry out the team work summarizes thesuggested countermeasures of the community to carry out the team work in the future, soas to promote the further development of the team work.
