In today’s society, the demand for innovative talents is increasing day by day. How to cultivate innovative talents through effective ways is a serious problem that every educator should think about.Chemistry is a natural science cannot be separated from the experiment. As a middle school chemistry teacher, we need to play the role of middle school chemistry experiment to cultivate students’innovative ability through experiment teaching. The "ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standard (Experiment)" enacted in 2003 contains a section clearly pointing out that cultivates students’ innovative spirit and practical ability through varieties of chemical experiment-based inquiry activity. However, traditional chemical experimental teaching, due to the shortage of funds, many schools can’t provide chemical agents and experimental instruments, "do chemistry experiment" has become "talk of chemistry experiment", "memorize chemistry experiment", "painting chemistry experiment", students rarely have the opportunity to involved in chemistry experiments, not to mention the improvement and innovation of chemistry experiment, it is not good for the students to improve the ability of innovation and practice, go against the demand of the new curriculum reform and innovation education. Based on this,we decide to Do research in the topic of "Research and Practice on the innovation experiment of low cost chemistry in Senior High School", in order to provide some reference for the middle school chemistry teachers in the low cost chemical innovation experiment.On the basis of consulting a large number of documents, we have a thorough understanding of the research background of this subject, and detailed analysis of the current situation of domestic and foreign research, the purpose and significance of this study, the content and methods of the research. Then we define the related concepts, and takes the innovation education theory, the theory of "doing the middle school", the theory of constructivism and the theory of multiple intelligences as the theoretical foundation of this project.In order to fully understand the current situation of the innovation experiment of low cost chemistry in Senior High School, tget real, solid data, and make full preparation for this practice research, we asked 365 students which come from Debao high school, Tianyang high school, Tiandong high school grade one to complete questionnaires in June 2015, then collect and analysis data. On this basis, combining with the characteristics of chemistry discipline, we countered the design principles of the low cost innovative chemical experiment:experimental principle——scientific, experimental scheme——feasibility, experiment process——safety, experimental phenomena——intuitive, experimental operation——convenient, experiment device——green, builded six design strategies of low cost innovative chemical experiment:use daiy necessities, reduce experiment cost; optimize reaction conditions, improve experiment efficiency; improve the experiment equipment, simplify the experiment operation; reduce pollution emissions, protect the environment; integration of experiment contents, save experiment time; contacted with realism, enhance experiment interest.Based on the above theoretical conception, we made practice research on the Exploration on the innovation experiment of low cost chemistry teaching at Class 365 of Senior One in Debao high school from September,2015 to January,2016.It took the learning contents in 2004 compulsory high school chemistry textbook (PEP edition) as carrier, the experimental class were given low cost innovative chemical experiment teaching, the contrast class were given traditional experimental teaching method.After the end of the study and practice, we collected anecdotal evidence about chemistry score, learning interest, experiment participation, innovation thinking and experimental cost, respectively, Objectively evaluated the low cost of innovative chemistry experiment teaching. The results show that low cost of innovative chemistry experiment teaching is helpful to improve the students’interest in learning chemistry, helps to improve the students’grades in chemistry; is conducive to the promotion of students to participate in the chemistry experiment; is conducive to improve the students’creative thinking; reduce experiment cost. That is to say, it is beneficial to enhance students’comprehensive ability, we construct the design principle and strategy of low cost of innovative chemistry experiment teaching is effective.Because of the limited of research level, short research time, students poor foundation and other reasons, the conclusion validity, this paper presents the study of teaching strategies are to be further tested.
