Research Hubei Province High School Cheerleading Team Development

The development of high school cheerleading team drives cheerleading to popularize and develop in middle school. The cheerleading team in colleges and universities of Hubei province is carried out like a raging fire. While in middle school, restricted to the time of promotion and degree of popularity and development, the majority of primary and secondary schools carry it out and develop it unsatisfactorily. The research object of this thesis is the cheerleading competition teams of middle schools in Hubei Province. By taking an in-depth research into the current situation of the 26 competition cheerleading teams built in middle school in Hubei, this thesis learns the situation of how the team of cheerleading develops in Hubei’s middle schools, points out the advantages and disadvantages confronted in the process of carrying out this new kind of sports pattern, and puts forward a development direction and reasonable suggestions on building cheerleading teams in middle school in order to accelerate a better development of cheerleading teams in Hubei’s middle schools, which forms a good realistic significance for the development of cheerleading team in middle schools of Hubei Province.Through the method of literature review, questionnaire survey, logical analysis and mathematical statistics, this study conducts questionnaire survey among the team coaches, athletes of middle school cheerleading competition teams in Hubei Province respectively and have a detailed analysis of the survey results respectively from the coaches, athletes, team construction and organization, and management of competition.Research shows that:1. The area of middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei Province is unevenly distributed, and the participation in competition is not much. In addition, the promotion in basic level is weak. The competition teams mainly come from Wuhan and Jingzhou, while there is no delegation’s participation in the provincial tournament in the level of county and town regions.2. The number of constructing middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei province is on the rise in recent years.3. In terms of coaches of middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei Province, they become younger in average age. And most coaches do not match their original major, and their participation in training is only a little. Besides, they lack professional cheerleading skills and knowledge.4. The proportion of girls in middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei Province is more than the proportion of boys. And participation in terms of studying phase is disjointed. And the motivation of training is mostly for self-improvement and the realization of self-worth.5. The Cheerleading team training mode is mainly routine training, and the content is often cheerleading dance. Training expenditure is mostly funded by the school. And the security awareness of the team in training is weak.6. The competition contents of cheerleading team in Hubei province are mostly the stipulated routine and cheerleading with plastic flowers and balls. The content is not carried out evenly, and self-created innovative routines need to be improved.7. Middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei Province are lacking in facilities. The vast majority of cheerleading training ground is the open places on campus.8. The constant updating of the new rule have higher requirements and a positive impact on the coaches and players of cheerleading sports teams in Hubei Province.Proposal:1. In the future development of middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei Province, emphasis should be put on bringing in the professional cheerleading talents, increasing the basic cheerleading training and strengthening the exchanges and learning between high-quality areas and the weak developing areas. By fanning out from one point to a whole area, Wuhan and Jingzhou can be regarded as the axis to promote an all-round development of middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei province.2. As well as keeping the rules changing in mind when training, the training plan for competition should constantly be adjusted in light of the actual situation. And the security consciousness should be enhanced.3. Increase the competitions between different cities, counties, towns and schools, expand the influence scale of competition, increase opportunities and enrich the content of competitions.4. The cheerleading teams in Hubei province can take the form of cheerleading camp and formulate an integrated and standardized education and training system, bring in professional training team, drive the positive development of Cheerleading industry and competitions, and improve the overall competitive level of middle school cheerleading teams in Hubei province.
