In the current primary and secondary schools, the composition has received more and more attention. Writing is the beginning to express their own. However, there are many problems in the primary composition and the dissociation of reading and writing is one of the main problems existing in the elementary school writing. One of the important strategies to solve this problem is to write reading responses. So no matter in reading or writing, learning to write a reading responses is always important. Through the investigation and interview of students and teachers, the author found that, most students like to read but seldom write reading responses, and rarely share their books. Usually in the writing process, there are the following questions:The story which students describe is not properly, the story too long and their perception too little. Do not know how to find the point they think. Do not know how to contact the actual etc. Reviewing of previous studies of the writing strategies, the author found that many researchers use technology tools such as concept maps, thought guide map, lists, etc. to solve the problems of the students’ writing. So to solve the problems existing in the reading responses, researchers try to design templates as a scaffold to help teachers and students to solve these problems.Firstly, on the basis of study on the relevant literature about primary reading, writing, etc., the author understands the existing problems in the reading responses. According to "the new curriculum standard of elementary Chinese course ", cognitive development theory, recent development zone and scaffolding instruction, the author designed reading responses template.secondly, the author regarded Chinese teachers of Grade Four and Class 1 Grade 4 in Xiaogan City Sports Road Primary School as the research object, using action research method, through the reading responses writing instruction, student work collection and surveys and interviews to teachers and students to know the current status of the students, and then design instruction and reasonably use the template to solve the problems in the reading responses.At last, summarizing the responses. By using the template, students in many aspects of the problems have been solved, and the difference was significant. Templates provide students with the support, students also has more interest in reading responses, the template designing bring some enlightenment to the teachers. But there are also some shortcomings in this study, the reason may be that students’ language expression has certain lack. May also because the students write the same fairy tale book, resulting in some boredom.
