Study On Embeddedness Of Social Work In The Ideological And Political Education Of Colleges And Universities

Social Work comes from Western countries, and China introduced it since the 20st century.Our government restored to reconstruct Sociology since 1998,and with it social work has been embedded in the development of administrative social work in a state of weak professional autonomy.This is the realistic condition and the only way which must be passed of the localization of social work.Political ideology education of colleges and universities is the traditional way of achieving the goal--to cultivate the socialist qualified builders and reliable successors in higher education.With the development of the times,China entered the period of accelerate the transformation of society,values,way of thinking,and behavior choice of students are going to be more diversified,which makes the party and government workers facing new challenge in the ideological and political education.Social work and Political ideology education of colleges and universities share similar theoretical basis,work object, value orientation and purpose and principle;social work’s way of localizing in Chinese Mainland is depends on our traditional administrative system to a large extent,combining the two,the embedded of social work into political ideology education of colleges and universities is a viable alternative of ideological and political education workers when they face new form and new challenge,and also the ideal strategy of social work to be embedding and professionalization.In this article, through the use of action research method,using plan,action,observe and rethinking in this method as key links,teasing venation and logic of author when she was in qiseguang studio doing practice,try to analyze the possible route of social work inset into the political ideology education of colleges and universities.Through the practice and rethinking of qiseguang studio’s social work practice,combining the theory--embedded development of social work in China,which came up by professor Wang Sibing.From the point of the identity of practitioner in practicing,the author summarized the routes social work embedding political ideology education of colleges and universities:initiative embedding and passive embedding.Through the comparative analysis of the two above,the study believed that the embedding of social work into political ideology education of colleges and universities has feasibility and necessity,professional social work embed it in a initiative way is the best choice.
