Master of education, namely Ed. M, is a program that provides systematic and cutting-edge education to the in-service teachers in this study. It mainly aims to promote the primary and secondary school teachers’ academic degrees and capabilities. This study mainly explores whether there are any changes after the four participants taking part in the Ed. M program and if yes, what the changes are.This study involves four research participants, who are all English teachers and work in Kunming city, Yunnan Province. And they are all middle school teachers of the same professional title with 8 to 14 years’ teaching experience. In view of the purpose of this study, the researcher adopts the qualitative methodology. In order to shed light on the changes triggered by the Ed. M program, the researcher adopted semi-structured individual interviews and participants’ class observations. During this process, internal and external influential factors were also examined.Based on the collected data, the conclusions of this study are explored. The researcher finds that there are some changes in teacher knowledge, teacher belief and teacher behavior. What’s more, there are also some differences during the process of teacher change as well. From these conclusions, the researcher aims to present some implications for school administrations, professional providers, curriculum designer and teachers.
