Study On The Effectiveness Of The Education On Socialist Core Values For Contemporary College Students

Core values is contemporary Chinese value system which occupies the core position, plays the core functions of the concept system of values, is loaded with the pursuit of the spirit of a nation, and embodies the value standard to judge the merits of a society. Socialist core values, from such three perspectives of country, society and individual, reflect the most basic value vision and pursuit of people of all ethnic groups and they are the "greatest common denominator" of contemporary China’s rich diversity of values, which specifies the contents of our country and society we dreamed of and reveals the pursuit of individuals.College students shoulder the heavy responsibility to achieve the great rejuvenation of the country. Hence, their healthy growth is not only related to their own development, but also is having effects on the country’s destiny and development direction. The revitalization of the nation is inseparable from the ideological and moral fulcrum. Only with the socialist core values internalized in their heart and externalized in their action can they actually make contribution to realizing the "Chinese dream".At present, the science and technology is developing rapidly, and the background of era is changing continuously. The investigation and conclusion of the questionnaire survey reveal that as an important part of the ideological and political education, the education of socialist core values has a certain distance in the effect of internalization and externalization, being still superficial. To explore the reasons, the first one is the change of the social environment in the transition period; the second is the weakening of the effectiveness of the value of the university education, and once again the problems of the value education in family education.The socialist core values of education effectiveness can be enhanced from four aspects: basic principles of education, improvement in the way of education, optimization of the environment of education,construction of the security system of education.
