After more than fifty years of development, the Internet has become a part of human life that people can’t live without it. However, as every coin has two sides. The internet, featured by virtuality, freedom, anonymity and time-space cross, not only brings a lot of benefits on information resources sharing and convenient life-style but also results to a series of ethics issues. Particularly among the college students who use computer most frequently, many problems of network morality has become increasingly prominent. The problem of College Students’ Network Moral self-discipline will not only hinder their personal development, but also hinder the development of social harmony and orderly. Therefore, it is necessary to study the problem.Followed by the research idea of problem identification, problem analysis and problem solving, this paper aims to promote college students’ morality of network and help them to improve their life and spirit world. In addition, from the perspective of network moral subjects —college students, the study presents status survey, reasons of problem analysis and educational strategy discussion.First of all, this paper makes a survey of current situation of network information behavior of college students in four Chongqing universities to investigate and study the current situation of their network moral self-discipline. The results show that some college students are lack of moral self-discipline. Some college students tend to be over-dependence on the network, likely to damage the interests of others and disrupt the social order of the network. The survey directly or indirectly reflects the serious problem of the subjectivity’s weakening and the imbalance between rights and responsibilities. The problem of subjectivity weakening of college students is reflected three aspects: low self-control, slowness of thinking and indifference of emotion. The imbalance of rights and responsibilities is embodied in the abuse of rights and the lack of the responsibility of information’ using and outputting.Secondly, based on the analysis of the text and the results of the interview, this paper dissects the reasons for the lack of moral self-discipline of contemporary college students both from the aspects of objective and subjective. From the objective aspect, there are three reasons which include lack of network moral education in colleges, the network characteristics and the bad social atmosphere. From the subjective aspect, there are four reasons which include escaping from the reality through the network, over-interpretation of the demand for physical and mental development, the problematic cognition to internet and the deficiency of ability of distinguish information.Finally, based on the above discussion, this paper explores the educational strategy to cultivate the Network Moral Self-discipline of the contemporary college students. The education should grasp the psychological characteristics of network morality and subjective demands of college students to develop their ability and integrity. Besides, the internet moral education in universities should adhere to the principle of subjectivity, pertinence, correspondence with coherence and unity of knowing and practicing. The education content should contain the media literacy education as well as strengthen the network moral responsibility education and integrate the network psychological education. In the implementation of methods, on the one hand, the hidden curriculum should be used effectively, such as carrying out a variety of campus’ activities. On the one hand, it is necessary to go into the network world of students, such as using the network platform reasonably. Moreover, it is necessary to combine the power of society to construct a good educational environment in society to promote students’ process of moral education proceeding smoothly.
