A Research On The Status,Problems And Solutions Of The Internationalization Of School Management In Medical Universities

Objective:In 21 th century, with rapid economic development,continuous social improvement, and the approach of information society and economic globalization, the globalization and internationalization of education is an inevitable trend of the world education development at present. Besides, the convenience of human vehicle has reinforced the world population mobility, the speed of propagation of diseases makes the health system overwhelmed, and human has increasing demands for self-health. Therefore, under the push of all the factors, the internationalization of medical education catches more and more care and concern from countries around the world. Chongqing Medical University is one of the outstanding medical universities in China. Its school running strength is growing rapidly. It also made a great contribution for the improvement of medical education and medical and health services, and thedevelopment of Chongqing’s economy. Therefore, through the comparative study of the medical education in the western countries, we combine the current situation of the internationalization of medical education in China,taking Chongqing Medical University as an example, and analyze the problems about internationalization of school management in our country.We thus propose some improvement measures and suggestions, providing the theoretical support for the internationalization of school management in some related universities and some reference for the similar universities.Method:1. literature research method. We collected the related data from some databases, such as How Net and VANFUN, as well as some foreign official websites, such as Harvard University and Cambridge University. Based on the extensive reading, we conclude, reorganize and summarize and analyze the theories and research results in order to get some implications. 2. interview and investigation method. On the foundation of extensive reading, we design interview outline and conduct interviews about administrators and enforcement workers in charge of internalization of medical education. After the interview, we learned about the current situation of internalization of school running in China as well as the progress of Chongqing Medical University in internalization of school running, found the existing problems and proposed the reform measures. 3.comparative analysis method. Through the collection of the related data,materials and literature, on the one hand, we conducted a comparativeanalysis of the advantages and disadvantages, school running pattern and the cooperative programs of internalization of school management in different medical universities in our country. On the other hand, we summarized the difference of characteristics and school running patterns of internalization of school management between domestic universities and western universities. Therefore, we found the disparities in internationalization of students and faculty as well as international cooperation programs and summarized the school running pattern of internationalization suited for our universities. 4. Case study method. Based on the obtained materials, we take Chongqing Medical University as a case study to learn the current situation of its school running of internationalization. Its existing problems, on a micro level, reveal the current situation of internationalization development of medical education in our country.Conclusion: The analysis revealed that medical education in international education process, the following problems : There are contradiction between advanced internationalization concept and domestic traditional education;The internationalization degree of students is low;The equipment of faculty of international quality is low and the development path is narrow;Projects of internationalization are single;There is deviation between international education system and our practical conditions;The imperfection of international criteria and equipment.Therefor, we putsforward the measures our country should take in the aspect of internationalization of medical education.1. let faculties and students hold open attitudes to the concept of internationalization;2. Improve the internationalization quality of the students in our domestic medical colleges in various paths;3.Comprehensively introduce,develop and lift the internationalization level of faculty in our medical colleges;4. Use Extensive and excellent international cooperation projects to improve the booming development of our medical colleges;5. Attach importance to the infusion of localized elements into international education system;6. Strictly executing the criteria of internationalization promotes the all-round development of talented persons.
