Influenced by the traditional research methods, existing curriculum researches basically rely on researchers themselves or the experts’ review and analysis. Indeed, this kind of paradigm has it’s certain value, but it is easily access to empiricism which leads to unable objectively and scientifically dig the important information of this professional field. The measurement methods, as a means of scientific research, can overcome this deficiency---it can display the mass information in the most visual form.Therefore, this paper based on measurement methods uses the methods of statistical processing and analysis to see curriculum research papers’ general situation, research methods, cooperation networks, research focus and cutting-edge research, etc. which were published between 2004 and 2013 in CNKI. And the result finds that attention in this area gradually reduces and the phenomenon of blindly following the study trend exists; the distribution of subjects are more concentrated which shows the indication of mutual learning with other subjects; the funds and project support lack; the use of research methods are imbalance and irregular; the addition of a group of new and young scholars make up the academic echelon that gradually upgrade the level of specialization of subjects; the unchangeable cooperation between scholars and institutions results in lacking of academic links; the stably changing hotspots are more targeted, modern, extensive and practical; the research front varies from the local to the whole which shows characteristics of internationalization and diversification, and also it strives to the integration between new theories in the international and local practice, between science and humanities.Secondly, consider experts’ interviews, they believing that the decade of curriculum study in China existing some errors: blindly following the trend and deliberately innovation lead to pursuit of profit; the theoretical research value orientation which is short of problem consciousness causes invariability of the method; running after the high efficiency of the research neglects the importance of cooperation; the localization of curriculum study lacks dialogue and transcendence attitude. All above have a certain consistency with the information from analysis to the methods of measurement.Accordingly, providing the following optimal paths: strengthen the weak areas of curriculum research; guide the study to the basis of conscious awareness in the premise of intensifying problem awareness; establish practical study values and methodology; strengthen exchanges and cooperation between domestic and foreign scholars; enhancing the localization of the curriculum studies in the form of dialogue. This study is a combination of in-depth analysis of measurement and experts’ experience, but there are still some deficiencies which will not affect the reference value of the research.
