College Students’ Safety Education Research In The New Period

Security is the foundation of the development and progress of human society, at the same time, it is the precondition of survival and development for all members of society. People always pay attention to their safety problems, now, in a era of college students’ values diversity, college students’ personal safety problem has drawn great attention of the whole society. In the new situation, our college students often face all kinds of complicated problems and danger, or potential, or knowingly, or ignorance, and it put forward severe challenges for strengthening college students’ safety education. In recent years, our country has been emphasized college students’ safety, and it not only provides guarantee of training excellent talents for the socialist modernization, but also the basic requirement of implementing education policies.The article states the relative concepts of safety and education, and to illustrate the significance of college students’ safety education. Taking some universities in Guizhou province as examples, and investigating in the safety education of college students in Guizhou province, analyzing the issues respectively from personal basic situation of college students, personal life experience,family security situation of the college students, and exploring the cause of the problem from social factors, school factors, family factors and their own factors, and to summarize the contents of college students’ safety education in the new period. This paper points out that the safety education is an integral part of college students’ quality education, and we must fully realize the college students’ safety education is the basic guarantee of social stability, the steady power of the economic development, the important means of communication for different social culture equally.Therefore, the colleges must strengthen the safety education of college students, and it must be included in the whole process of university education, popularizing knowledge of safety culture, improving safety awareness, enhancing the skills of self-protection, to ensure that the college students themselves from harm. At the same time, putting forward some countermeasures corresponding with timeliness according to present situation, and mainly taking measures to establishing the sane education system of college students’ personal safety, regulating the content of college students’ safety education reasonably, strengthening moral education and legal common sense of college students, and to ensure the personal safety of college students.
