Research On Friendly Values Cultivation Of College Students

In any era, friendliness is an important means of regulating relationships in which people pursue. In contemporary China, friendliness, as one of the core values of socialism, provides a common set of values for interpersonal communication. Especially to college students, who shoulder the task of building our national socialism construction, the cultivation on the values of friendliness is particularly important.The cultivation on the values of friendliness for college students should be inherent requirements in individual development. It is the nature of the pursuit on friendliness. Furthermore, it is the necessity to help realistic society out of the moral dilemmas, resolving social moral indifference, and consolidating social common moral foundation. At last, it is the necessity to boom Chinese culture, inheriting and carrying forward the values of friendliness in traditional culture, and improving the national cultural soft power.Our investigation shows that the variables of society, family, and college have different degree of positive influences on the values of friendliness for college students. The problems on the values of friendliness for college students are mainly caused by the adverse social impact, improper family education, inadequate school education, and lack of individual reason.The mechanism construction for the cultivation on the values of friendliness for college students can follow these steps. Firstly, the inner mechanisms should be inspired, such as, the driven mechanisms for inner need, the startup mechanisms for dynamic reflection, the operating mechanisms for the internalization of knowledge, the regulating mechanisms for volition and psychology, and the feedback mechanisms for evaluating results. Secondly, the external mechanisms should also be set up, such as, the mechanisms for propaganda and education, behavior and practice, cultural education, the model of leading, and multilateral coordination.There are four different ways to cultivate the values of friendliness for college students. Firstly, strengthen the social education. Government and public organization should play a guiding role. Mass media should play their unique advantages to spread the values of friendliness. Enterprises and community should enhance support function. Secondly, optimize the family education. Friendly and harmonious family relations should be established. The moral quality and education way for parents should be improved. Thirdly, improve the school education. The main role of class teaching should be pay more attention. The construction of campus culture should be strengthened. More and more network resources for the values of friendliness should be offered. Finally, promote the self-education. Our cognition and emotional experience on the values of friendliness should be improved. The spirit of scientific criticism on social morality problem should be trained. The unity of knowledge and action should be achieved while participating in social practice.
