Out of the classroom and into nature, orienteering can meet the different gender, age, physical fitness and skill of the participants need. It can not only enable children to master new skills, self training, but also can improve the overall fitness level individual. The adolescent physical condition is not ideal, so this study from the Perspective of sports teaching of, using the method of experimental teaching, through the involvement of children in the Orienteering exercise means learning to analyze reflect the effects of Orienteering on 9-10 years old children’s physique and provide a reference to further promote the development of the students’ physical level. Methods: This experimental selected in total of 60 students as objects of study, who are from grade three and grade two of the second primary school in Baoji City`s High-tech zones. According the nature class, divided them into experimental group and control class group, both groups have 30 students, 15 boys and 15 girls. Students in experimental groups have orienteering training as the experimental program, and the control group have normal physical education learning as the syllabus. After experimental, analysis the changes of students` body shape, physical fitness, physical function indicators before and after the experimental. Results: After experimental, body shape changes in the experimental group and control group:Body shape indicators of boys and girls in the control group including height, body mass indexes BMI(P>0.05) had no significant changes. Before and after the experiment and the experimental group, the changes in the control group students physical quality and control group of girls body anteflexion in sitting position(P < 0.05), had obvious changes, the experimental group boys skipping(P < 0.01) have significant changes, 50 meters(P < 0.05) have significant changes, the girls in the experimental group 50 meters(P < 0.01) have significant changes, body anteflexion in sitting position(P < 0.05) have significant changes. Before and after the experiment and the experimental group, changes in the control group students’ physical function, control group of male and female body function indexes after the experiment, vital capacity(P > 0.05), no significant changes, the experimental group male, girl’s body function indexes after the experiment, vital capacity(P < 0.01) have very significant changes. Conclusions: 1.Through 10 weeks` orienteering training, the results of rope skipping test from boys showed many significant differences(P<0.01), which indicated that this training can improve their agility.2.The 50-meter-running which reflected their speed index improved significantly after the experimental, it indicated that this training can improve their speed quality.3.The sit-ups which reflected their flexibility improved significantly after the experimental of girls, it indicated that this training can improve students` flexibility.4.The vital capacity which reflected their physical function improved significantly after the experimental of girls and boys, it indicated that having orienteering training can commendably improve students` vital capacity.5.through ten weeks of orienteering training, indexes as physical quality and physical function of children between 9 and 10 improved significantly. It indicates that orienteering training has a positive effect on the physical condition of children aged 9 to 10.
