The Research And Application Of Token Ring Protocol In The Network Communication With High-frequency

The sky wave of High-Frequency, which has characteristic reflecting from ionosphere,gives opportunity of communicating beyond line of side without using any repeaters.Meanwhile, the ground wave of High-Frequency, whose characteristic is far away fromclimate, provides good performance of propagation. So human has never stopped the researchon High-Frequency communication. The High-Frequency communication has been anobbligato part of military communication as well as emergency conditions. However, with therapid development of the network communication, the traditional business has been unable tomeet the High-Frequency communication requirements, the researchers start to combineHigh-Frequency communication with others so that High-Frequency can be a part of Internetunder the condition of IP integration. This article is mainly about the research and applicationof HFTRP (High-Frequency Token Ring Protocol), which can build a network in theHigh-Frequency environment and transmit the IP packets. At first, the paper introduces thebackground knowledge and the development at home and broad briefly. Then, the articlerepresents the concept and principle of HFTRP in detail, especially for the key techniqueincluding joining ring, relaying token and merging rings. With the consideration of realcircumstances, we make some improvement on HFTRP. At last, we obtain the time of ringformation, throughput and latency of HFTRP by building typical simulation scene. Besides,the article also verifies the functions of HFTRP through simulation as well as realenvironment test, including the state machine, relaying token, leaving ring and so on. Theresult indicates that the designed HFTRP achieves the expect performance, the state machineis correctly and it could process the relaying token, leaving ring both subjective and passive,the HFTRP can be used to practice, who has satisfied the basic requirements ofHigh-Frequency communication.
